INT. — ABOUT
Stephanie is a creative executive and independent producer with over 15 years of experience in television development, production, and scripted programming. She most recently served as Director of Current Programming at Universal Television, where she oversaw multiple high-profile series across broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms, including A Man on the Inside, St. Denis Medical, Law & Order: Organized Crime, and Lopez vs. Lopez. In this role, she collaborated closely with creators, producers, and network partners to guide creative development, staffing decisions, and production strategy while maintaining the high standards of Universal Television's programming slate.
Prior to Universal Television, Stephanie held roles within NBCUniversal's scripted programming division, contributing to both current programming and drama development. During her tenure, she evaluated pitches and scripts, supported the launch of new series, and helped manage the ongoing creative direction of shows across NBC, SyFy, and Peacock. Her work included projects such as La Brea, Mr. Mayor, The Resort, Astrid & Lilly Save the World, New Amsterdam, and The Undeclared War.
Earlier in her career, Stephanie worked directly within production and writers' rooms on iconic series like Law & Order: SVU, where she gained hands-on experience with the storytelling process from script development through post-production. She also participated in the prestigious Directors Guild of America Assistant Director Training Program, where she was selected as one of only six trainees from hundreds of applicants.
Stephanie earned her B.A. in Cinema Studies from New York University, graduating with honors and receiving the University Honors Scholar Award. She is passionate about storytelling, creative development, and building meaningful collaborations that bring compelling stories to life.
